A Nebraska Mower Story with Local Roots

Encore Manufacturing was founded in 1988 by Dick Tegtmeier in Beatrice, Nebraska, a town with a deep place in the commercial mower industry. While many outdoor power equipment brands have been sold, merged, or absorbed into larger corporations, Encore remains the only privately held lawnmower company still rooted in Beatrice.
